There’s a lot more to school than schoolwork…

There are a range of clubs on offer throughout the school week, these change termly.

Over the year, pupils can enjoy various after school clubs (football, multis-sports, gymastics, netball for example) our sports provider, Plymouth Argyle. There are many opportunities for children to take part in inter-school and North Devon sports events and competitions.  During the school holidays, Plymouth Argyle offer sports clubs at East Worlington, Lapford and Chulmleigh Primary schools.  All children attending a Trust school are able to access this facility.

Additional clubs include: Lego, creative writing, mindfulness, Makaton sign language, and out-of-school clubs.  Some are run at lunchtime and others after school. 

We also have on offer keyboard and violin lessons through external music providers.

Children are encouraged to participate in other clubs and take on important roles and responsibilities too. These can include becoming a School Councillor, a School Librarian or becoming a YSL (Young Sports Leader).
